Chart notes

LAURI'S WISH pressed the early pace, drew even just past the half, dueled through the turn, took a narrow lead at the top of the stretch, edged clear late under steady handling. SPINNING ACES set the early pace facing pressure by the eventual winner, dueled with that one, was no match but second best. LIKE THIS stalked just off the leading pair, was three to four wide through the turn, a few paths wider in the lane, kept on well enough to hold show honors. CLEAR AS A BELE tracked in behind the leaders two wide, kept on inside late but missed show honors. BIG BOO lacked early speed, swung seven wide into upper stretch, finished well but too late. SONO chased from outside four to five wide on the turn, came out a bit for the drive still in striking range but lacked the needed late kick. YOUNG TUSCAN chased from inside, failed to rally and was not persevered with late.
