Chart notes
CAIRO DREAM tucked in tracking in behind the leaders in the second flight mid-pack, was near but just off the rail throughout, bid inside taking the lead about a sixteenth out then edged away. CANDY BAR set the pace inside but off the rail, lugged out near the eighth pole, was overtaken in deep stretch but second best. LUCY GOT GAME was lightly bumped after the start, encouraged forward outside, stalked the leader, was three to five wide throughout, ridden along three furlongs from home, kept on to hold show honors. SALLY O'MALLEY bumped a rival lightly after the start, was caught outside foes four wide into and on the first turn, made a mild advance outside four then five wide on the far turn looming a threat coming to the top of the stretch but could not sustain the effort. STARINA was not a factor while racing off the rail. EVITA was between the leaders into the first turn dropping back and switching out to instead stalk between the second flight, failed to threaten.
