Chart notes
NOTCH raced up close from inside, coaxed along up the backstretch following the top pair, drew closer under a drive two then three wide on the far turn, seized control in upper stretch and drew clear from BAN AND A BOOM under right handed encouragement. BANG AND A BOOM pressed the pace from outside, raced on even terms at the halfway point, inched ahead on the far turn, drifted in slightly in upper stretch to bother RIVER'S BENCHMARK and was overtaken by NOTCH shortly after, then stayed on well from inside for a clear second. BRUISER traveled three then two wide at the back early, coaxed along up the backstretch, pushed on two then three wide through the far turn, moved out in the lane and was along for the show honors. DORADUS chased in the four then three path early, asked three wide through the far turn and got outkicked by BRUISER for third. RIVER'S BENCHMARK showed the way early in the two path then along the rail, dueled at the half-mile pole inside a rival, fought back through the far turn, paused when bothered by BAN AND A BOOM in upper stretch, altered out at the eighth pole and weakened. ALIBI TERHUNE broke a step slow, rounded the first turn two wide then found the rail, saved ground to the stretch, drifted out in the lane and failed to menace.
