MAVERAMA with the lead pack while along the inside up the backstretch, moved closer and lodged a rail bid through the turn, shook clear when straightened for home, maintained daylight past the furlong marker, held the runner up safe late under steady handling. G. ERIK off slowly, continued back early, moved out, began to advance far turn, swung out six to seven wide exiting the turn, finished with good energy down the middle of the strip to gain the place while closing the gap on the winner. REAL BLUES vied up front outside up the backstretch, continued to force the issue while four wide through the turn, lost considerable ground to the winner into the stretch, chased that one pasts the furlong marker, caught late for the second spot. STAYGOLDPONYBOY in mid pack while racing outside, four to five wide through the turn when making a mild advance, drifted in inside the furlong grounds, finished up evenly in lacking a closing kick. WE NEED A FAVOR back off the pace and the inside, two path through the turn, improved slightly through the lane, not a serious threat. CHICK COMMAND with the pace while three wide and between horses, had little left for the drive. NOTHING BUT HEIR broke out, moved closest to the first flight off the inside, angled four wide into the lane, bothered slightly by a drifting STAYGOLDPONYBOY with less than a furlong remaining, went flat when clear in the final yards. MULA squeezed at the start to be off slowly, lacked speed, two path into the lane, improved slightly upper stretch, not a serious threat. NOBLE REIGN one paced along the inside, continued to save ground through the turn, lacked a closing response. CHARMING TIGER remained back and failed to menace while racing off the inside. ARJUN FOR KARZ broke sharp, set or forced the pace in the two path, gave way in the drive. C J'S BOOMBA pinched back at the start, trailed throughout. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE STRETCH RUN, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
