Chart notes

SHOWSTOPPER COPPER was bumped at the break, rushed up on the outside under a hold to stalk the front runners by the half mile marker, three path on the turn, made a bid by the quarter pole, came four wide off the turn and was clear by the furlong marker and then maintained a safe margin to prove best under a drive. HOUGHTON SHUFFLE tracked the pace along the inside on the turn, swung out five wide leaving the turn and rallied well. MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT dueled for the lead on the outside, then made a bid to gain a short lead between rivals by the quarter pole, then fought on to the wire but could not go with top two stayed for the show award. UNCLE CAESAR chased the pace on the outside and was four wide on the turn, came six wide off the turn but had no kick. CAMULUS was settled mid pack and three wide on the turn but lacked the needed rally. MAGIC SPIN was bumped at the break, settled along the inside on the turn and had no rally. GENGHIS bobbled and bumped a rival at the break, then settled early and lacked a rally. BYK dueled for the lead on the inside and weakened in the drive. YES IT'S ROO was reserved early and never threatened.
