Chart notes
NOLITA was urged along on the far outside, moved closer late on the backstretch, chased in the four to five path on the turn, rallied to the lead in upper stretch then shook clear near the furlong marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth and just held under strong urging. ARIANA RYE showed speed between horses then chased the pace, dropped back along the rail on the turn, shifted to the three path late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the six path, gained in the final furlong, was bumped hard outside the sixteenth-pole and closed well to just miss while clear for the place. EMBRACEABLE GAL was backed out of the gate then re-loaded, dropped back while crowded a bit between foes early, raced off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path, chased under a drive into the final furlong, came out under a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then bumped hard with the runner-up and was out-kicked while clear for the show. FABULOUS FOX chased the pace then dropped back near the five-eighths pole, was urged in the two then three path on the turn and lacked the needed kick. VALENTINE GIFT dropped back then was urged along at the rear, traveled around the turn in the two then three path, spun into the stretch in the five path then moved out and was no factor. EVALUATION moved out inside the three-quarter pole then was urged along off the pace, gained to make a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three to four path on the turn, took a brief lead at the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and capitulated. ANNIEWORKSTOOMUCH was hustled from the gate, showed speed between horses then contested the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, dropped back nearing the three-eighths pole, moved off the rail into upper stretch and tired. GRANADILLA disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, dropped to near the rail at the quarter-pole and faded.
