Chart notes
ZATARA settled behind the pace toward the inside, steered out and made a good move three wide on the two leaders late in the final turn, drew strongly clear under steady handling. BIG CITY broke on top, set a pressured pace along the inside, proved no match for the winner through the stretch, fully extended to save the place. LAT LONG in mid pack while three wide through the first turn, continued unhurried the middle half mile, came in the two path out of the final turn, set down and finished with some late interest to be getting to the runner up. SILVER HEIST in mid pack while racing off the inside, steered out three wide late in the final turn, showed some interest through upper stretch then flattened out a bit late to be caught for the show. ONE GIANT LEAP stumbled at the start, raced well back for five furlongs, found best stride too late in improving his position. BOURBON AFICIONADO saved ground to no avail, lacked closing punch. BOURBON'S FAULT broke a step slow and failed to menace. GOLDBRICK pressured the runner up on the front end for six furlongs in the two path then gave way as the winner was coming to call late in the final bend. CHARLESTON hesitated at the break, four wide through the first turn, remained back. LUCENCY gave way after a half while three wide.
