Chart notes
FIRST TRUMPET was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader while in the two path on the turn, took the lead in upper stretch, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. DANGEROUS DRIVER broke out at the start, was urged along on the outside, dropped from the four to the three path on the turn, gained into upper stretch and finished with good energy to just get the place. NILRUC broke out and brushed with a foe, was urged along towards the rear, went around the turn in the five path, remained on his inside lead in the drive and finished well to just miss the place while clear for the show. WAJDA went to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and weakened. PRAIRIE DUNES dropped well off the pace, rounded the turn in the three path, remained on his inside lead until the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and failed to impact while improving some position. LCGOLUCKY was hustled from the gate then urged along near the rear, went around the turn in the three to four path and was no factor. LIMITS OF POWER was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths then had the rider lose his left iron, regained the iron into the turn, moved from the rail to the two path on that bend and came up empty. DREAM ALLIANCE was well placed early, dropped back late on the backstretch,was urged along while two path to the inside on the turn and faltered. NOBLE ONE saved ground on the turn and showed little. AWESOME LIFE brushed with a rival at the start, was urged along on the outside, dropped from the three path to the two path on the turn and also faltered.
