Chart notes
PRESIDER stepped to the front and took control of the rail while under pressure, maintained command through the far turn, shook free at the three-sixteenths pole and drew off under left handed urging and steady handling. BRAVE BLEND moved inside tracking the top trio, followed along the rail then two wide on the second bend, moved out in the lane but could not make a dent on the winners advantage but stayed on to best the rest. BAD TO THE BONES unhurried in the opening stages from the rail, remained inside to the stretch and gained third. ONE TIME MARK stalked four wide through the clubhouse turn, continued wide up the backstretch, got bumped entering the far turn, chased four then three deep to the stretch, moved out in the lane and missed third. BABY WAYLON pressed the pace from between rivals, asked to keep up around the far turn, lost touch with the winner at the top of the lane and flattened to fifth. MONGOLIAN ALTAI sat off the pace three then two wide, drew closer in the middle stages, came under a ride three wide on the far turn, got put in tight and bumped into stretch, moved out in the lane and could not rally. GENTLEMEN'S CLUB bumped with outer rival a few times in the beginning, pulled early when reserved on the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch and never threatened. DEALERS SPECIAL bumped with GENTLEMEN'S CLUB a few times leaving the gate, traveled three deep towards the rear around the clubhouse turn, went four wide around the second bend, got bumped into stretch and weakened. SIX MAGPIES (IRE) was a bit rank early then settled in the two path at the back, continued two wide into the far turn, moved into the three path around the bend, swung five wide turning for home and lacked a rally. BIG JUANITO stumbled leaving the gate, raced two to three wide early off the pace, steadied a bit behind a rival at the three-eighths pole, went two wide around that bend and was never a factor. BELMONT BILL attended the pace three deep, bumped with outer rival entering the far turn, chased two to three wide between rivals to the stretch and weakened.
