STAN FROM MALIBU dueled from inside, inched ahead leaving the backstretch, maintained a short lead through the turn, put away CONSTANT CONFLICT in upper stretch while being confronted by TEDD'S TRIUMPH, battled through the final furlong and yielded grudgingly in the end. SPIRITIST settled inside, steadied off heels from the half-mile pole to the seven-sixteenths marker, steered off the fence and chased three wide into the lane, angled out in upper stretch and rallied to gain third. PICKING IT UP got floated in, bumped and steadied early, chased five wide into the turn, moved into the four path around the bend, churned on down the lane and lost third. NOVINOPHOBIA climbed and got bothered by RUNNING TIGER early, raced between rivals leaving the backstretch, chased two then three wide on the turn and improved position. RUNNING TIGER fractious in the gate, bumped at the start, climbed and came in early, rounded the bend four then three wide and kept on to improve position in the lane. CONSTANT CONFLICT dueled from outside then pressed leaving the backstretch and around the turn, lost touch with the top pair in upper stretch and weakened. SALSATION coaxed along chasing off the pace, raced along the rail then in the two path on the turn, ran into traffic in upper stretch, angled out at the eighth pole and lacked further response. RED ON SUNDAY also coaxed along off the pace while widest early, went six deep into the turn, moved into the four path then chased five wide turning for home and proved no menace. TRAVEL THE MAP got bumped early, stalked between then off the rail, chased three wide into the turn, angled to the rail around the bend and faded. LITTLEBROTHERJOEY chased from inside, dropped out of range past the half-mile pole, lost ground around the bend, cut the corner into the lane and failed to respond. FORMIDABLE THREAT got bumped early, raced three deep then outside a rival towards the rear, took the turn two to three wide and was never a factor. NEW YORK DREAMS (GB) stumbled leaving the gate, took a bump early, raced in mid-pack to the turn, traveled two wide around the bend and weakened.
