Chart notes
LOOK FORWARD raced up close three deep to the turn, chased three wide on the bend, loomed two wide turning for home, took over at the top of the lane, quickly put SILENT LAW away in upper stretch while being challenged by ARTISMA from outside, resisted through the final furlong and was able to hold on. ARTISMA stalked four deep, navigated the turn four then three wide, latched onto LOOK FORWARD in upper stretch, dug in under left then right handed urging but could not get by the winner. SILENT LAW stepped to the front and crossed over, took pressure from PRACTICAL DREAM on the outside, shook free past the three-eighths pole, challenged by LOOK FORWARD entering the lane, yielded in upper stretch, weakened in the late stages but finished a clear third. HOWIN coaxed along just out of range then lost ground when starting to climb when hit with kickback, tipped out three wide on the turn, churned on down the lane and earned a minor award. A. Z. WILDCAT climbed briefly racing outside a rival off the pace early, moved inside leaving the backstretch, eased off the rail past the five-sixteenths pole and weakened down the lane. PRACTICAL DREAM broke well, pressed the pace from outside, could not keep pace with the leader and chased two wide past the three-eighths pole and also weakened in the stretch. POLYTHENE PAM dropped back on the inside then angled out, took the turn three then four wide and failed to menace. MAWU broke a bit slow, trailed up the backstretch off the inside, eased on the turn and down the lane, pulled up just before the wire and walked off.
