LUVAHAPPYENDING was last away, tracked well off the pace racing three wide most of the trip, bid five wide into the stretch, appeared to hang while lugging in then made some contact with GOLD COAST GIRL near the wire, straightened out in deep stretch and surged ahead in the final yards. GOLD COAST GIRL tracked three to four wide racing a couple of lengths behind the pacesetter, went to challenge for the lead approaching the three furlong marker then was on the outside of three contesting the issue at the top of the stretch, gained the lead in deep stretch drifted out, made contact with LUVAHAPPYENDING in the final yards and could was outfinished. FOR FUN pressed and stalked the pace two deep through the early stages, moved to challenge from the seven-sixteenths pole together with GOLD COAST GIRL to the outside, put a head in front at the top of the stretch, battled to the sixteenth pole then gave way. FAT AND FURIOUS broke outward and made contact with DESERT RUMBLE then was steadied repeatedly while racing between horses through the first turn and also turning on to the backstretch run, backed away from traffic and bided time through the far turn, was set down in earnest from the quarter pole but was not making any headway at the top of the stretch swung to the four path in deep stretch, was kept to task and was able to improve in the late stages. DESERT RUMBLE steadied after the break when FAT AND FURIOUS came over and made contact after the break, was last into the first turn and trailed the field through the far turn, kept on while never a threat and improved position late. WARREN'S MEMORABLE won the race to the first turn, slowed down the pace for the first half-mile while rating kindly on a slight hold, quickened heading into the turn and held sway to the quarter pole, was overtaken at that point, fought on well but weakened in the final furlong. SHES GOT THE POWER stalked and pressed the slow pace form the inside while saving all the ground, had every chance to the stretch but came up empty. THE RIDER ON #7 GOLD COAST GIRL LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF #5 LUVAHAPPY ENDING ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE FINISH LINE. AFTER REVEW, THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION ON THE GROUNDS THAT THE INCIDENT HAPPENED TOO CLOSE TO THE WIRE TO HAVE AFFECTED THE OUTCOME. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC.
