Chart notes
SPIRITED RIDE reserved off the early pace, was set to a drive into the turn, made a steady advance to collar the pacesetter at the sixteenth pole and was going away late in a determined drive. HIGH TOLE set a pressured pace to midway on the turn, opened a clear lead turning for home, rider lost the crop at the eighth pole while still clear and was out-finished late. MARDENE was slow early to be the distant trailer and mounted a bleated rally in the lane to be gaining late. GOLDENEYE MAGIC was off balance at the start to be a step slow leaving the gate, was put to a long drive leaving the three-eighths pole to be in contention turning for home and failed to sustain the rally in the lane. NIGHT NURSE pressed the pace to midway on the turn and gave way.
