GENERAL'S DUTY steadied off heels near the three quarter pole, recovered and shifted out, gained four wide and well in hand nearing the half, sat patiently tracking the dueling leaders past the five sixteenths, shifted out and bid four wide between foes into the lane, forged to command near mid stretch, switched over to his left lead late, cleared and held sway under a drive. ROSE COLLECTOR settled off the pace and off the inside, split rivals with a run leaving the far turn, was forced to angle six to seven wide outside a drifting foe entering the lane, straightened away closed willingly to nab the place. PEACE NOT WAR dueled early outside CORONOVA, rated off that one nearing the five eighths and stalked about two wide, took closer order past the half then steadied back off foes three furlongs out, ramped back up and bid two wide between runners to claim a slim lead in upper stretch, fought on to the inside of the winner leaving mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. MY GREAT ILLUSION rated inside early then eased out around the first turn to stalk the leaders, moved up and bid three wide into the far turn, dueled outside CORONOVA to the quarter pole then wandered five wide affording the winner a seam, straightened and came back on a bit leaving mid stretch then flattened out late. POINT LIAM was fanned four wide near the three quarter pole, edged saving ground nearing the far turn, steadied briefly awaiting room, came out for the drive, attempt to move further out then shifted back in, worked between runners and finished with interest. CORONOVA , eager dueling on a slim lead to the inside of PEACE NOT WAR early on, shook clear near the five eighths, was engaged by MY GREAT ILLUSION entering the far turn, sparred with that one past the quarter pole, drifted three wide into the stretch then weakened in the final furlong. CLASS PHOTO drifted out nearing the first turn, corrected and raced between runners in early backstretch, dropped inside and was under a hustling ride to gain past the quarter pole, bid inside a host of rivals soon into the stretch, failed to go on leaving mid stretch and faded. SOUPERSILVERDOLLAR saved ground and failed to menace. TOO FRACING LUCKY broke outward, lost ground five wide past the five eighths and faded. ROAD MINISTER broke slowly, trailed saving ground into the stretch and failed to get involved.
