Chart notes

GOLDEN ICE stumbled leaving the gate and brushed an inner rival at the start, raced at the rear in the four to three path into the backstretch, moved two wide and between rivals leaving the five furlong grounds, moved closer in the two path around the far turn, tipped to the four path to take aim outside of the top pair entering the lane, bid and drove clear in the final furlong. DEFTLY DONE tracked in the two to three path around the first turn, brushed an inner rival while offered a bold three wide bid leaving the half mile pole, led from that inner presser while taking the far turn in the three path, but was bested by an outer bidder in midstretch then safely held place. CAJUN SWAGGER took light contact from an outer rival at the start, raced off of the pace in the three path before tucking to the inside around the first turn, took the far turn in the three path, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch and moved up to edge show late. WAYLLEN RICHARD was brushed by an outer rival into an inner foe at the start, laid off of the pace along the inside before moving out to the three to four path around the first turn, chased while inching closer along with an inner counterpart around the far turn, but flattened out without reaching contention. MOTOWN STAR stalked two wide, bid while taking light contact from an outer foe leaving the half mile pole, got outkicked yet sustained pressure inside of that one turning for home, then gave way through the final furlong and lost fourth at the wire. DOES NOT COMPUTE set the pace along the inside, got overhauled by an outer pair of bidders nearing the seven sixteenths pole, stopped and was eased through the lane.
