Chart notes
SACRED CONNECTION was well in hand into the first turn to be off the pace, moved tp a stalking position down the backside, rallied four wide on the far turn to challenge for the lead at the quarter pole, took control in upper stretch and drew off as clearly the best. MARY KATHERINE tracked the leaders from the inside down the backside, gradually slid to the outside approaching the far turn and on the bend, rallied from five wide turning for home and finished willingly while no match for the winner. MANGORITA reserved off the pace to midway on the far turn, rallied seven wide and kept grinding through the lane to be up for the show in the final strides. JACK'S YACHT QUEEN prompted the pace from between rivals to five-sixteenths pole and lacked a closing kick weakening down the lane. TORREY STREET set the pace through easy early fractions, continued on the lead into the far turn under mild pressure and lacked a response when challenged nearing the quarter pole. NELL'S BELLS trailed until late in the lane having never posed a threat. LADY GIULIANA raced in contention for the first three-eighths and faded down the backside.
