Chart notes
T KRAFT stumbled bad at the start and was off a bit slow, moved up to establish a good position just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, made a bid to the inside of the pacesetter outside the five-sixteenths pole, fought very gamely with multiple foes while along the rail in the stretch and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. GRAND COMMANDER contested the pace, lugged out a bit late on the backstretch, vied in the two path under urging on the turn, lost the lead outside the quarter-pole, battled on gamely with multiple foes in the stretch and just missed while able to get the place. ONE NINE HUNDRED hit the inside of the gate then bumped with a foe while off a step slow, was taken up in tight quarters shortly thereafter then moved to the outside, tugged hard on the bit under restraint, moved up near the nine-sixteenths pole, stalked in the four path on the turn, made a bid into upper stretch, fought outside of three foes while remaining on his inside lead until inside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, battled outside the top two to the finish and just missed while clear for the show. SOCIAL HOUR was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. SENOR PONCHO raced just off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, was urged along in the three path for most of the turn then dropped to the two path and came up empty. GOURMET DINNER bumped with a rival at the start, chased the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path and faltered.
