Chart notes
RB DOUGLAS sent to assume early command, was well handled while showing the way into the turn, kicked clear into upper stretch, drew off in the lane and was hand urged in the final sixteenth to win as much the best. BURNING SHORES AA close up to the early pace, stalked outside of DOUGLAS into the turn, was no match for his stablemate into the stretch and was a clear second best. RB QUEEN ESTHER tracked the early pace, well placed while three wide into the turn, was no match for the top pair in the stretch and was best of the rest. UPTOWN HASTAMANANA shuffled at the start and a bit slow to begin, chased two to three wide into the turn and weakened in the stretch drive. WMA MADJIC SLIPPERS tracked the early pace from inside of runners, saved ground into the turn, could not keep pace into the stretch and tired. FFIONNA threw his head at the start and was off slowly, trailed into the turn, saved ground to the top of the stretch and did not factor. WMA NASH RAMBLER allowed to settle early on, got caught a bit in tight approaching the turn, was shuffled back and lost position into the bend, chased from the inside to the quarter pole, swung widest into the stretch and lacked a late response.
