Chart notes
ZITI (FR) allowed to settle while never far back, was roused four wide nearing the quarter marker, loomed into upper stretch then vied for the lead nearing the furlong grounds, battled with SUGARCOAT then made contact with that rival nearing the sixteenth marker, shook free into deep stretch and edged clear late. SUGARCOAT forwardly placed in the early going, tracked outside of runners into the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, mounted a three wide bid at the quarter marker, vied for the lead into upper stretch then took a narrow advantage at the furlong marker, met the bid of ZITI then made contact with that rival nearing the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and was clear for the place honors. LEGACY DEFINED pulled on the rider a bit leaving the start, assumed command into the first turn, set moderate fractions while leading through the backstretch run, coaxed along and showed the way into the second turn, came under pressure into upper stretch, was overtaken nearing the furlong marker, could not match strides with the top pair into the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. SUMMERTIMEE well placed in the early going, tracked the pace while saving ground into the backstretch run, chased from the inside into the second turn, ran in pursuit while within aim into upper stretch and did not offer the needed late response. TIZ A KNOCKOUT allowed to settle in the early stages, never far back through the backstretch run, made a steady advance to the quarter marker, swung five wide into the stretch and continued her advance to the furlong grounds, could not sustain her run into the final sixteenth and flattened out. CHARMING LEAH assumed early command, ceded the lead to LEGACY DEFINED into the first turn, stalked that rival into the backstretch run, chased two wide and between runners into the second turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the drive. HOOH HER broke out at the start and was a step slow begin, allowed to settle early on, saved ground into the second turn and did not threaten in the lane. AN OBJECTION WAS LODGED BY THE RIDER OF SUGARCOAT AGAINST THE RIDER OF ZITI FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. THE STEWARDS DETERMINED THERE WAS MUTUAL CONTACT BETWEEN THE TWO RUNNERS AND NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
