Chart notes
TEXAS RED BEL prominent in the early running, pressed the decent pace into the turn, vied for the lead at the quarter marker then took command into upper stretch, was kept to task while clear into the final sixteenth and drew away late to win as much the best. EAGLE EXPRESS allowed to settle in the early running, saved ground into the turn and chased to the quarter marker, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, could not keep pace with the winner into the final sixteenth and got up for second in the final strides. STORMY BISONETTE forwardly placed in the early going, chased the moderate pace while saving ground into the turn, got caught a bit in tight nearing the quarter marker, needed more in the stretch drive and was outfinished late for the place honors. TAY TAY'S BABY chased the early pace from between runners, ran in pursuit two wide into the turn, got floated a bit into upper stretch and came four wide into the lane, ran evenly to mid-stretch, lacked the needed late response and passed tired rivals in deep stretch. HOT PATOOTIE settled off of the moderate early pace, trailed into the turn, went three wide nearing the quarter pole, swung five wide into the lane and did not threaten in the final stages. WAVING BYE was a step slow leaving the start, rushed up and stalked the early pace outside of rivals heading to the turn, chased three wide nearing the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, lacked the needed late response and tired in the final sixteenth. SHARP LIKENESS showed good early speed, set the pace to the turn, came under pressure at the quarter marker, overtaken into upper stretch and faded in the stretch drive.
