Chart notes
WONDERRAND lacked early speed, came around the second turn four wide, made a wide rally down the home stretch and was going away at the end. NODAH raced near the back in the beginning, came around the first turn on the outside, made a late rally, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. PICKIN ANA GRINNIN raced within contention, took the lead around the final turn, drove clear and was caught for second. FORT POLK raced in the middle of the field, made a bid at the 3/4 pole and hung down the home stretch. GIRL THIRSTY lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. ALLIACEOUS raced evenly near the back and was never a threat. BLUE RIDGE QUEEN vied for the early lead, saved ground around the second turn and faded. R T'S GEM raced within striking distance and dropped back. IRONIT challenged on the front end, retreated to the back, lost contact with the field and was eased to the wire and walked off.
