Chart notes
HIT SHOW stuttered a step at the start and was last away while off a step slow, trailed in the two path, advanced in the three path around the far turn, swung out six wide in upper stretch, rallied to bid at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. KOMOREBINO OMOIDE (JPN) broke a beat slow, pressed the leader from the three path, gained an advantage with three furlongs to go, dug in to resist outer challenges in upper stretch, but was collared by a pair at the sixteenth pole, got bested shortly after yet gamely clung to place. SKINNER was off half a beat slow, laid off of the pace three wide, crept closer turning for home, fanned out to the five path entering the lane, sustained his bid through midstretch, but was outkicked by an outer challenger at the sixteenth pole, hung late and failed to gain place. MAYCOCKS BAY tracked from the three to four path around the first turn, pursued within striking range around the far turn, but only managed to chase between horses in upper stretch, failed to sustain pressure in the final furlong and saved fourth at the wire. HEROIC MOVE laid off of the pace along the inside, shifted to the three path into the lane, ran on while moving inwardly in upper stretch, but evened out in the final furlong and missed fourth. COOKE CREEK laid off of the pace two wide and between horses, faded at the three furlong pole, trailed turning for home, moved out to the four path into upper stretch and came again mildly. TRACK PHANTOM showed the way in the two path as an outer rival applied pressure, got headed by that one at the three furlong pole and gave way in upper stretch. PIPELINE stalked from the two path, chased around the far turn, weakened and was eased through the final furlong.
