Chart notes
RUSSIAN TO WIN broke out but forwardly, raced with the pace on the outside through the turn, shook off the other speed when straightened for home and drew out under steady handling. IAN GLASS in the second flight while three wide and behind the winner, proved no match for that one in the drive, clearly second best. VALE in the second group while racing along the inside, behind some traffic late in the turn, along for the show, no threat to the top pair. PRESSURE in the second flight early while three wide, fell back into the turn, improved position in the drive without posing a serious threat. BLOW TORCH broke back, devoid of any early speed toward rail, moved three wide by late in the turn, improved position with some belated interest. ALGEBRA in tight at the break, lacked speed, raced in the two path out of the turn, also bettered position through the lane while racing through some traffic. LUV TO WIN broke through the gate prior to the start, made little impact while saving ground. GOLDEN LUNA with the pace between horses while inside the winner, backed up through the stretch. COUNT DE MONET off step slow, was used to move up into mid pack early outside, turn then faded down the stretch. METALLIC MAN with the pace for a half along the inside, gave way in the drive.
