Chart notes
POP D'ORO settled into a stalking position just behind the pacesetting U CAN DO U, started to move closer leaving the three furlong marker then pulled even at the quarter pole, took command at the top of the stretch and went clear under a hand ride. MR LOVE MUFFIN raced close up to the turn, held position then tipped out to the three path for the stretch run, finished up well under steady handling and gained the place. BIG JACK broke well then settled near the back of the tracking group but not far from the front, got a inside run through the turn and finished evenly under steady handling. RENEW was outrun from the break and far back in the early going, raced five or six wide down the backstretch then angled in to the two path through the turn, was set down from the seven-sixteenths pole and managed to improve position while drifting out under left handed urging. U CAN DO U broke a beat slow but rushed up to grab the early lead, went clear by just over a length and held position to the turn, gave way when POP D'ORO challenged at the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. HEZADOOZIE tracked mid-pack racing three wide through the early stages, was asked to go on from the five-sixteenths pole but had no response, came five wide into the stretch well behind the rest and chased the to the wire.
