Chart notes

BANGO'S HEAT settled far behind through the early running and had only two beaten heading into the far turn, launched a bold rally from the three furlong marker, came into the stretch in the three path then cleverly navigated through traffic in the stretch, found clear running up the rail in the late stages and surged clear in the final yards. ILA VEIW TOO got pinballed at the start, then raced at the front of the second flight, was the first to after the leaders leaving the five-sixteenths, was no match for the winner but finished best of the rest. ACES OVER DEUCES was a little slow into stride the steadily advanced down the backstretch and through the turn while racing very wide, finished with good interest and was gaining late but ran out of time. CHRISTINA'S CANDY broke well and vied four wide through the initial stages, was still with a chance turning for home and finished on good courage but came up short. GROOVY GRAY GAL vied three deep with the quartet battling for the lead through the early stages, kept on well but weakened in the closing yards. VALLEY ECHO was three wide with the tracking group down the backstretch, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths, came three wide into the stretch, loomed a threat in the final furlong but was outkicked late. SORORITY PARTY broke in at the start and made contact with ILA VEIW TOO, got inside position with the pack tracking the early leaders, saved ground to the stretch, altered course to the three path late but could not make an impact. HIGH FLYING GRACIE coaxed early but unable to contest the early pace, struggled to keep up on the turn, saved ground and finished evenly. LEEDSTHESKY hopped in the air at the break, was away awkwardly and spotted the field several lengths head start, made a mild rally from far back leaving the quarter pole and passed a couple of tired ones in deep stretch. SENSIBLE LUTE raced between horses in the early pace scramble then had little to offer in the stretch. DANGERELLA took a bump at the break causing a slow start and chased throughout. SALLY STANFORD broke well and contested the pace with three others while having the inside position, took the lead in upper stretch then stopped with a furlong to go and went from first to last before crossing the wire.
