Chart notes

THREE PLUS ONE tracked behind the leaders while holding to the rail, had clear run turning for home, got a head in front in the final yards and prevailed. ROBARANDO raced on the outside of the pair tracking behind the dueling leaders, set off to bid for the lead after passing the quarter pole then drifted out to the six path, was running on well under steady handling then drifted inward under right handed urging took the path of G DAWG in the final yards. EITHERINORINTHEWAY bumped after the start with G DAWG then again a few strides later, was outrun down the backstretch, saved ground through the turn then finished with a big rally under steady urging and gained the show despite having some trouble running straight in the latter stages. G DAWG exchanged a couple of bumps with EITHERINORINTHEWAY through the initial stages, raced between horses in the third group, launched a rally with three furlongs to go, had a clear run through the stretch loomed a threat inside the eighth pole then had to steady near the wire. JUST KEN veered in after the break and took the path from BLACKSOD BAY, raced well behind the pace to the turn, came out to the five path for the stretch run, was not making up much ground, then shifted to the two path, found best stride and was making up ground in the end but ran out of time. WILL RUN kept to the inside path despite being outrun through the early stages and finished evenly. BOB'S KID dueled for the early lead with STREET GUN, drifted out to the four path on the turn taking that rival out as well then gave way at the furlong pole. STREET GUN came away from the gate a bid awkwardly, but rushed to the front, dueled with JUST KEN through solid fractions, got forced out five wide into the stretch then weakened late. BLACKSOD BAY steadied after the break when JUST KEN came over and took the path after the start, swung to the outside and raced very wide to the turn, tried to rally from far back on the turn, drifted out to the six or seven path turning for home, taking a rival out in the process, finished up with some interest but still barely beat one to the finish line. SWISS LAKER BOY angled out to the five path when clear then went three to four wide through the turn, got carried out to the eight path by BLACKSOD BAY turning into the stretch and was unable to improve. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND THE JOCKEY ON #3 G DAWG LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF #5 ROBARANDO ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE FINISH LINE. AFTER REVEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE OBJECTION AND DISQUALIFIED #5 ROBARANDO FROM 2ND AND PLACING HIM 4TH. THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH 2-5-4-3 WAS CHANGED TO 2-4-3-5.
