Chart notes
PEGASO broke poorly, racing in the back, moved up on the inside around the final turn, rallied down the rail and proved the best. SUMMERTIME PEPPERS pressed the pace, raced close throughout, dueled down the home stretch and was outfinished for the win. MAJESTIC PALACE raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, made a bid and proved no match for the top two. CONNECTIQUE went to the front, drove clear, lacked a late kick and was caught for third. RUN CARLOS pressed the early pace, forwardly placed throughout, came around the second turn on the outside and faded. HEAVENLY DEAL broke poorly, raced near the back and was never a threat. STEAUXLIT raced near the middle of the field and dropped back. BOULDERING void of early speed and showed little.
