SUNLIT SONG rated nicely off of the early pace, saved ground into the first turn, was well placed while saving ground through the backstretch run, saved all of the ground to the quarter marker, got caught in a bit of traffic into upper stretch, found room and bid at the furlong marker, took command and dug in into the final sixteenth, felt pressure in deep stretch and lasted for a determined win. SILENCE D'ORO pulled on the rider a bit away from the gate, assumed early command and set decent fractions while well handled into the backstretch run, showed the way to the quarter marker and led into upper stretch, met the bid of SUNLIT SONG then was overtaken by that rival into the final sixteenth, stubbornly came back in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while holding well at the wire for second. BOBBY BRINKLEY allowed to settle, saved all of the ground to the far turn, angled out at the furlong marker, closed well into the final sixteenth and just missed for the win and placed, while clear of the rest for the show honors. SUPERSECRETWEAPON prominent early, stalked the decent pace outside of SILENCE D' ORO, attended to the pace through the backstretch run, chased two to three wide to the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth and was outkicked late. MOR VICTORY settled off of the early pace while never far back, was caught six then five wide into the first turn, tracked the decent pace through the backstretch run, chased three to four wide into the far turn, lacked the needed response into the stretch and passed tiring rivals late. ROBO close up to the early pace, was caught a bit in tight while two wide and between runners approaching the first turn, well placed into the backstretch run, tracked the decent pace between rivals heading to the half-mile, lost position into the far turn and gave way in the drive. SPECIAL MEMORY forwardly placed early, tracked the pace four wide to the first turn, well placed into the backstretch run, tracked three deep nearing the half-mile pole, chased three wide into the far turn, lost ground nearing the quarter marker and tired in the stretch drive. SHARP LORENZO settled off of the early pace while never far back, was caught a bit in tight approaching the first turn and was shuffled at the seven furlong marker, trailed into the backstretch run, saved ground while trailing into the far turn and did not threaten in the drive.
