Chart notes
DISTINCTIVE DEB broke on top then backed out of a developing speed duel and content to sit just behind the pace through the turn, tried to slip through a narrow opening up the rail at the three-sixteenths marker, lost the path then tipped out to the three path, responded to urging, collard the leaders inside the sixteenth and pulled clear in the final yards. A DIME FOR ME settled well behind the pace, then started to steadily advance through the turn, came under a drive with three furlongs to run and finished up well under steady handling to be just up for the place. ADIOS MUCHACHAS broke sharply and had a short lead passing the half-mile marker, hooked up with DRILL BABY DRILL through the turn then continued to battle that foe to deep stretch, bested that rival inside the furlong pole, finished on good courage but was unable to fend off the top pair. CANADA CANDY ducked in towards the gap after the break and was last away, settled at the rear of the field while holding to a position along the rail through the turn, tried to angle out to the four path in upper stretch but found the way blocked then ducked in to the two path and rallied under steady handling and urging and improved. DRILL BABY DRILL broke well then dueled outside of ADIOS MUCHACHA from before the half-mile marker to deep stretch then gave way late. BOHEMIAN JIGGLES raced to the outside of the three horses in the rear, angled out the five path turning into the stretch then was forced out wider by A DIME FOR ME, ran on some under strong handling. GETAWAY DAY was a little slow into stride the rushed up four wide to join the early fray, loomed a big threat passing the quarter pole then flattened out in deep stretch. HAYNESPUN broke well then was briefly up with the early leaders, dropped back during the run down the backstretch then had little to offer in the lane despite strong handling. MISS ACCELERATE raced in mid-pack to the turn, then started to lose ground, dropped back to last before the three furlong marker and was unable to keep up down the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
