Chart notes
MODO showed good early speed and assumed command, set a prompted pace heading to the half-mile marker, was well handled to the turn and carved out a decent pace nearing the quarter pole, kicked clear into upper stretch, drew away into the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. GLEE settled off of the quick early pace, advanced two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit of MODO into the stretch, was no match for the winner into the final sixteenth and was best of the rest. TAPITURES ACTOR prominent early, prompted the solid pace outside of MODO heading to the half-mile marker, attended to the quick fractions two wide into the turn, could not keep pace with MODO into upper stretch, weakened in the lane and held well late for third. WAUNEKA hustled away from the start, chased the solid early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit four then three wide nearing the quarter marker, could not muster the needed response in the stretch and was outfinished late for the show honors. EVENING EDGE raced close up to the solid early pace, chased three wide nearing the half-mile pole, lost position three wide into the turn and gave way in the stretch drive. QUINQUELA broke in the air and spotted the field to begin, saved ground into the turn and advanced at the quarter marker, could not sustain that run into the stretch and did not threaten late. NAVAL WOMAN ducked in sharply at the start and was off slowly, rushed up and chased the quick early pace from the inside, ran in pursuit into the turn, could not keep pace at the quarter pole and tired in the stretch drive.
