Chart notes
CLANCY FANCY went to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, dropped from the two path to the rail on the turn, shook clear outside the quarter-pole, responded well under the crop in the drive and held under strong urging. BRACIOLE bobbled at the start, was urged along near the back while between horses, traveled around the turn in the two path, angled out in upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and finished willingly to get up for the place. PRINCE OF TRUTH broke out at the start, was urged early then moved in near the five-eighths pole, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, chased the leader in a perfect striking position into the final furlong but weakened while just able to get the show. NOONZIO was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, gained late on that bend, turned into the stretch under a driven, pursued the leader into the final furlong and flattened out then just missed the show. TOMACON broke out at the start, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the five path and lacked the needed response. HUMSTINGER was fractious in the gate, came away in good order, pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, dropped back outside the quarter-pole and tired. STOP THE SPREAD was urged along between horses, moved in near the nine-sixteenths then shifted back out around the half-mile pole, raced in the four path for most of the turn then dropped to the three path and had nothing left. MAJESTIC TIGER was ridden along towards the back, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn and was no factor.
