RUNAMOR chased five then four wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command at the three-sixteenths, came in under an active left rein and forced I'M SOLO N IN LOVE to steady when impeding that rival and in turn ROMEO VOID to take hold in behind that foe, then got corrected, dug in under threat to the finish and prevailed by a neck. I'M SOLO N IN LOVE brushed the off side stall at the start, then continued outwards and bumped FINES CREEK into REVIVALISM against pressure outside from ROMEO VOID, which in turn forced RUNAMOR to alter out a path while FINES CREEK and REVIVALISM had to steady and check accordingly with seven and a half furlongs to run, prompted the leader from the outside four then three wide advancing to take command just inside the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch, got headed at the three-sixteenths, dug in and was forced to check when impeded by RUNAMOR a furlong out and in turn forced ROMEON VOID to steady and hop in behind, dug in getting back on track to game fight on to the finish but ultimately missed by a neck. ROMEO VOID chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was forced to steady a furlong out when the aforementioned foe was impeded directly in front by RUNAMOR, then recovered and kept on well clear of the rest for the show honors. REVIVALISM got bumped between foes and was forced to check seven and a half furlongs out losing two to three lengths of ground, chased eight paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. FINES CREEK got bumped between foes and was forced to steady with seven and a half furlongs to run when pressure came from both side after the break, chased four then five wide under a ride from the three-eighths, went six wide into upper stretch, improved position to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. DAYTONA MOONSHINE got bumped at the start by MONOMOYS PARTNER, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. GUNMAN JAYVO chased four then three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, continued three wide into upper stretch, tired. DANZIGER broke in at the start, chased just off the inside coming under a prolonged drive with nine-sixteenths to go, continued just off the inside through the turn, angled four wide into upper stretch and made no impact. MONOMOYS PARTNER broke in at the start bumping DAYTONA MOONSHINE, cut the pace three then two wide under pressure from I'M SOLO N IN LOVE to the outside, yielded the front just inside the three-eighths when placed to urging, swung three wide into upper stretch in retreat and folded in the stretch. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run as well as a claim of foul by the rider of I'M SOLO N IN LOVE alleging interference against RUNAMOR at the eighth pole. After review, it was deemed that RUNAMOR had interfered with I'M SOLO N IN LOVE at the eighth pole and RUNAMOR was disqualified from victory and placed second before the result was declared official.
