Chart notes
GOLD THIEF leaned outwardly and brushed a rival at the start, prompted along the inside before backing off to stalk from the pocket approaching the turn, tipped three wide to take aim outside of the leading pair in upper stretch, rallied to bid along with an outer rival leaving the furlong grounds, forged an advantage at the sixteenth pole and held sway. WATCHINGTIME hesitated at the start and was off slow, trailed in the two path, launched a rally three wide and between rivals entering the, lane, tipped further out at the three sixteenths pole, sustained advance while hanging on his left lead through the lane, bid along with an inner rival at the furlong grounds, but drifted out subtly in the final sixteenth and was kept at bay. FINAL HALF took light contact from an inner rival at the start, vied between horses before crossing over to the inside approaching the turn, led inside of a pair of prompters around the turn, shook free at the three sixteenths pole, but was overhauled by an outer pair in the final furlong. DUBAIAN MONEY was bumped by an inner rival leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the six path, was ridden along under strong urging in the four path around the turn, crept closer subtly turning for home, but was floated out to the seven path by an inner rival in upper stretch and leveled off. BIG MARV lacked speed while hung in the five path, fanned to the seven path into the lane, drifted inwardly in upper stretch and improved position. M L BRODY'S GEM saved ground off of the pace, got shuffled back behind a tiring rival nearing the lane, then moved up. ME PROMESA bumped an outer rival leaving the gate, vied four to two wide into the turn, but faded between horses at the three sixteenths pole. JONAS GRUMBY tracked five to three wide into the turn, ranged up to bid outside of the top pair at the five sixteenths pole, but drifted out while weakening entering the lane. LAST RESOLVE transferred light contact from an inner rival to an outer foe at the start, got keen while forward between horses early on, backed off and pursued from midpack in the two path into the turn, but weakened between horses nearing the lane.
