Chart notes
ONE TEN stalked the pace three wide through the far turn, was carried out to the eight path by the leader, surged late under a strong hand ride and was along in time in the middle of the racetrack. DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR moved up steadily four wide to make the lead before a half, quickly drew clear, set the pace into the stretch, drifted to the seven path then couldn't handle the winner in the late going. GEAUX YOSHKA pressed the early pace two wide, dropped back before a half then came on again four and five wide through the late stages. ATKINS set the early pace inside rivals, kept on the balance of the trop and finished determinedly while three wide. ROSE'S PEPINO unhurried early, closed a gap late four wide. LOGICO vied for the lead along the inside into the stretch and faded late. ROYAL DRAGOON trailed.
