Chart notes
CORONA GRANDE allowed to settle, closed willingly four wide through the far turn to make the lead nearing the top of the stretch then drew off under right handed urging to win as much the best. FIRST CITIZEN bore out at the start, set the pace off the rail through the far turn then was no match for the winner. SLIPPERY WHEN WET stalked the pace three then four wide and went evenly. JARLIAN offered a mild bid inside rivals on the second bend then failed to sustain that bid. DANVILLE close up five wide, drew closer to on the second turn then came up empty. CAMBIASO failed to menace. LAUTREC trailed into the stretch, swung out past the middle of the racetrack and was never a threat. ENDLESS SUNSET was shut off at the start, also swung wide entering the stretch and was no factor. KRUG pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, checked past the five sixteenths pole, swung wide then stopped.
