Chart notes
KYNLIE'S EMPIRE roused at the break then allowed to settle along the rail behind the pace, rated under a snug hold while never far back to the far turn, got a clean run into the stretch and outdueled JAMIES INHERITACE in the final furlong to prevail. JAMIES INHERITANCE always prominent, went three wide into the first turn the tracked five wide down the backstretch, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths pole then loomed three wide at the top of the stretch, battled gamely to the wire but came up short in a good effort. SPITTEN KITTEN was hustled from the break and got the jump on the field into the first turn, proceeded to seize the lead and take the tightly bunched field through reasonable fractions all the way to the far turn, still had the lead approaching the furlong marker then was overtaken by the top pair but held third. VALENTINA DAY was off a bit slowly the rushed up to join the pack before the first turn, settled three wide down the backstretch, was still close when trying to launch a bid passing the quarter pole but stalled when racing on the left lead in upper stretch and was outkicked the rest of the way.. MADEIRA WINE pushed to get forward position from the break then tracked just behind SPLITTEN KITTEN in the two path to the far turn, was trying to get out passing the quarter pole then had nothing to offer in the stretch.
