Chart notes
C J ALL THE WAY prompted the pace from four wide to always be well placed, rallied at the head of the lane, engaged the tiring pacesetter inside the final sixteenth and prevailed in a determined drive holding the runner-up safe. JARETH tracked the leaders to midway on the turn, rallied six wide turning for home, made a steady advance through the lane and came up jucst short in a good effort. AMIGO'S AFFAIR set the pace on a clear, well measured lead, responded when called up leaving the quarter pole to hold the advantage in mid-stretch and weakened late in the lane. MONTAUK COVE stalked the pace from the inside through the turn and lacked a closing kick. SEEING RED raced mid-pack throughout making a mild bid in the stretch without impact. CHARGER reared at the start giving the field a sinificant head start, rallied to the pack on the turn and flattened out having lost all chance at the start. NICHOLAS JAMES rated in mid-field, made a mild bid in upper stretch and flattened out. UNCLE KEVIN was not a factor. THE RIDER OF SEEING RED CLAIMED FOUR AGAINST THE WINNER FOR INTERFERENCE LEAVING THE GATE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
