Chart notes
BLESSED ANGEL broke sharply and vied three wide through the early stages, maintained a tracking position behind SING A HAPPY SONG through the turn and into the stretch, patiently ridden, was set down in mid-stretch, closed the gap and was pulling away in the final yards. SING A HAPPY SONG broke well and made the lead without being coaxed, went clear passing the three furlong pole, held the margin into the stretch, was confronted by BLESSED ANGEL inside the furlong pole, had no response but was able to save the place. FAST GISELLE vied between horses early, then struggled to keep up with less than three furlongs to run, tried to rebid from three wide into the stretch but was only able to maintain position to the wire. DADS ESTRELLA raced outside of TWELVE STARS in the second flight, well behind the pace battle up front, launched a three wide bid on the turn and into the stretch, finished with some interest but was much too late. TWELVE STARS unable to keep pace after the break, saved ground and tried to rally late but was not good enough. GO GO SADIE devoid of speed, dropped behind early, was gaining late along with the other two trailers but was unable to improve. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
