BUY THE RUMOR was brushed by GRAZED BY LOVE at the break, settled four to five wide down the backstretch then launched a bid while still wide after passing the three furlong marker, came six wide into the stretch and finished best of all under strong handling to prevail. ROYAL CURLIN was unable to contest the early pace but tracked inside with the second flight, held the inside position through the turn, angled out to the three path for the stretch run, gained second, was passed in mid-stretch, then came back under strong handling and urging and re-gained the place. DRIVE TRAIN was devoid of speed and lagged well behind through the early stages, was kept to task through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, started to run on, angled to the rail and finished up strong under steady handling to get the show dough. GRAZED BY LOVE broke in and brushed with BUY THE RUMOR but was otherwise away well, was pushed to get forward position and pressed BOOP ME through the turn, took over the lead at the three-sixteenths but was already weakening, kept on under good courage but was passed late. DINERO DE LA CASA broke outward and steadied at the break spotting the rest a bit of a head start, improved down the backstretch racing four to five wide down the backstretch, then went seven wide into the stretch and produced a rally but had too much ground to cover. CYBER SMART broke sideways and was a bit slow into stride, recovered nicely and tracked on the outside at the head of the tracking group, finished up with some interest under steady handling but was not good enough. KARAOKE HERO tracked inside with the second flight, tried to launch a bid with three furlongs to run but stalled in the stretch and finished evenly. ROCKY TOP MISCHIEF pushed to get forward position, pressed the pace three wide to the turn, was set down with three furlongs to run, came into the stretch with a brief lead but could not maintain the bid and weakened. BOOP ME broke in and mutually bumped with DINERO DE LA CASA at the start but still made the lead without being pushed, had a pair of pursuers shadowing to the outside to the turn, gave way readily passing the five-sixteenths pole then faded in the stretch.
