Chart notes
SLICE OF PIE hustled hard from the break then vied inside, drifted out a path on the turn, lost the lead late to a rival on the inside but came back on in the final yards and was just up. LADY ATHENA was contesting the early pace inside then lost the path and steadied at the seven-sixteenths pole, dropped off the pace, came back on up the rail under steady handling was finishing well, gained a slight advantage late but was nailed at the line by a resurgent foe. HEY BARMAID outrun from the start but kept in a drive throughout, improved on the turn, got a good trip through the turn in the two path and sustained the run into the stretch to gain and hold third. LUCY TREASURE raced at least four wide throughout the race, made a nice middle move through the turn then continued to rally in the stretch, was finishing strong but ran out of time. FABULOSITY raced up close to the leaders through the initial stages then dropped out near the three furlong marker and was not a factor from that point. COCKTAIL PRINCESS vied three wide for the early lead, loomed large turning for home but weakened in deep stretch and lost position late. CHOCOLATE FRECKLES broke well and was pushed to get invovled in the early pace, was unable to keep up early then remained in a drive and tried to re-bid seven wide into the stretch but could not threaten. QUEEN MYSTIC broke sharply but was unable to keep up with the early pace, dropped back steadily during the backstretch run and was never a factor. BIG BLUE NOTE broke well, pressed the pace to the stretch then tired.
