TIPPLE lost her footing at the start and was last away, moved up under coaxing then tracked the pace on the outside, raced in the three to four path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, rallied to the lead in the four path in upper stretch, fought outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth then moved clear under good handling. SHOP LIFTING was hustled from the gate, moved up to get the lead outside the five-eighths pole then contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path on the turn, was given her cue inside the five-sixteenths pole, led clearly in the three path into the stretch, lost the advantage to the winner inside the three-sixteenths pole, battled inside of that opponent into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while able to get the place. SHIRL'S DELIGHT settled just off the pace while just behind a rival, moved out behind that foe with five furlongs to run, drafted in the two path on the turn, was roused at the quarter-pole then moved out into upper stretch, raced behind two foes passing the three-sixteenths pole, altered out near the furlong marker, loomed a threat on the outside of the top two into the final sixteenth but flattened out and settled for third. SANDI'S SATIRE was hustled from the gate, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in upper stretch and faded.
