Chart notes
STORMYLUX raced in the three path on the turn, dueled outside MINEDANDREFINED and drove clear. MINEDANDREFINED stayed in the two path around the turn, disputed the pace inside the winner and finished gamely. MAGIC TIP remained along the inner rail, chased the pace and lacked the necessary rally. ROCKBAR bore out leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four wide, chased the pace, drifted out turning for home and weakened. WHIMSICAL HEIR raced off the duel, came into the stretch in the three path and failed to rally. PRINCESS K , carried out leaving the starting gate, was no factor.
