Chart notes
THREEBROTHERS stalked the pace down the backstretch, moved up in the three path on the far turn, took the lead near the sixteenth pole and drew clear. THIRTY SECONDS OUT chased the pace, gained the lead in the two path leaving the far turn and gave way grudgingly. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) raced inside horses on the far turn, swung out in upper stretch and rallied. SOCAL RED , shuffled back leaving the starting gate, entered the far turn along the inner rail, worked his way outside near the sixteenth pole and rallied mildly. MOVE OVER (GB) stayed along the inner rail for the six furlongs, eased off the rail in upper stretch and weakened. CROSS THE CAUSEWAY , four deep the far turn, lacked a rally. ITS A BOY , outrun, passed tired rivals late. ORTH , taken to the inner rail after sprinting clear soon after the break, gave way after six furlongs. ELECTROSTATIC , three wide the first turn, was four wide the far turn, chased the pace and gave way. DEFENSOR FORTIS gave way and was eased late.
