Chart notes
MY SUZIE Q set a pressured pace to the quarter pole, responded when called upon turning for home to open a short lead and held the closers safe in a determined drive. SPIRITED RIDE took a left turn leaving the gate giving the field several lengths, made a steady advance to the field down the backside, circled five wide to be prominent in upper stretch and kept gaining on the outside to be up for the place. FRAC AMOUR tracked the pacesetter through the turn, angled four wide splitting rivlas in the lane and closed well in the stretch coming up just short. SICILIAN STYLE TWO pressed the pace down the backstretch, lost position through the turn, cut the corner coming home and kept-on willingly along the inside in the lane. WINE AND WAVES stalked the pace into the turn, rallied on the bend to threaten at the quarter pole and flattned out in the lane unable to sustain the bid.
