Chart notes
D'BUSKER pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, pulled away and proved the best. LYRICAL BELLE raced within contention, moved up, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. GIRL FROM DE BAYOU went to the front, saved ground, lacked a late kick and was caught for second. DAY STORM void of early speed, made a late inside bid and was outfinished for third. LASSIE BEE lacked early speed, came around the turn on the outside, finished wide and was no factor. DEAL PICKLE raced within contention, faded and was no threat late. ORTHODOX DIXIE had an awkward start, moved up within contention and retreated to the rear.
