Chart notes
TOWN BRANCH broke in, sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and proved the best. PLAY MASTER lacked early speed, made a steady inside gain, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. KINFOLK pressed the pace, saved ground around the second turn, forwardly placed throughout and was caught late for second. ALLIGATOR CRAWL raced in the middle of the field, made a mild bid, but was no real factor. PURE MALICE lacked early speed, improved position, finished wide and was no threat. WILLIAM GUSTAVO pressed the pace, faded and was no threat late. GILDERSLEEVE squeezed back at the start and was never close. LO LO'S LAUGHTER raced within contention, came around the first turn on the outside and made a steady retreat. G'S STORM raced in the middle of the pack in the beginning and dropped back.
