Chart notes
NOBLE EAGLE broke inward at the start and bumped KOCHAN, spotted the field a little head start then steadily advanced into contention down the backstretch became boxed in late on the turn then surged to the front at the top of the stretch, lugged in and made solid contact with FINE TUNED in upper stretch, dueled gamely with SOLEVO through the last furlong, kept a nose in front to the wire and prevailed. SOLEVO broke well and stalked five wide down the backstretch, made a sweeping move to get to the lead by the top of the stretch but was five wide, finished up well under steady handling, battled with NOBLE EAGLE through the final furlong but could not get past that one. GO GO BOSS steadied after the start when KEYS GOLDEN SONG took the path at the break, then could not keep up with the pace early and was far behind the rest down the backstretch, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, swung about seven wide into the stretch and finished with intent, gained third but could not get to the top pair. FINE TUNED broke out at the start and made mutual contact with MIDNIGHT TALKER, saved ground while tracking mid-pack, tipped out a path turning for home loomed in upper stretch, was knocked off-stride by NOBLE EAGLE in upper stretch, steadied then altered course to the four path but could not recover. FIRST TAKELA broke well and vied four wide while not really being asked, was unable to go with I'M ENTICING when that rival quickened on the turn, had to steady sharply just past the three-sixteenths marker, swung out to the three path but was unable to regain any forward momentum. MIDNIGHT TALKER broke in and bumped with FINE TUNED, steadied then dropped well behind through the early stages, launched a mild rally on the turn and ran on with some interest but was never a threat. I'M ENTICING broke well and vied between horses to the turn, took over the lead early on that turn and led the field into the stretch, then came under pressure approaching the furlong grounds and faltered. KOCHAN got bumped then pinballed at the start, settled well behind the pace early and did not menace while racing two wide. KEYS GOLDEN SONG broke well but inward into the path of GO GO BOSS, hustled and vied inside for the early lead then started to drop through the field near the seven-sixteenths pole, lost contact with the field and was galloped out to the wire.
