Chart notes
BEAU SOLEIL raced in range off the rail then moved inside, given her cue past the three-eighths pole, challenged inside the top pair at the five-sixteenths pole, fought on even terms with UFFDA turning for home, inched ahead in upper stretch, edged clear from UFFDA with a sixteenth remaining and held safely over the late run from the runner-up. STRANGE ADDICTION lagged behind early, traveled along the rail into the turn, gained ground while tipping out to the three path around the bend, rallied into second late and kept gaining on the winner to the wire. UFFDA was closest in pursuit early then moved up to apply pressure at the half-mile pole, took over three wide midway around the turn, dueled outside BEAU SOLEIL into the lane, lost command in upper stretch, fought to midstretch, then yielded in the last sixteenth. ISABEL LUDLOW chased three deep then outside a rival up the backstretch, ridden along three wide around the turn then exited the bend in the two path, stayed close into the final furlong but flattened late. STELLAR CAP chased from off the pace four then three deep, navigated the turn four then three wide and also flattened out in the late stages. SAPADILLA chased under coaxing out of range from inside, fell back to last on the turn, cut the corner into the lane and passed a tired rival. TOULOUSE DETRAC took control from outside and moved across, got pressured from outside at the half-mile pole, relinquished the lead between rivals midway around the bend, started to weaken with a quarter remaining, tired and eased in the final furlong and walked off.
