REVERSE MERGER vied for the lead with an outer rival early on, drew clear passing the three furlong pole, but was confronted by an outer pair entering upper stretch, got headed by his widest challenger in the process, yet fought back to rebid along with his immediate counterpart at the furlong grounds, dueled while trading blows with that one through the final furlong and prevailed. PROBLEM SOLVED pursued from midpack along the inside, gained moving to the two path at the five sixteenths pole, took aim along with an outer co-bidder in upper stretch, sustained his charge to duel with an inner foe into the final furlong, exchanged contact with that one multiple times while battling through the late stages and was denied. BATTER UP was off slow and bumped by an inner rival at the start, dropped back and trailed in the two path, got keen running up behind rivals with a half mile to go, advanced swiftly between horses while moving out to the five path at the three furlong pole, bumped with an inner rival at the five sixteenths marker before sustaining a bid entering the lane, gained an advantage in upper stretch, but flattened out and relinquished the lead to an inner pair passing the furlong grounds and yielded. RACHAEL'S WAGON bobbled at the start, saved ground well back, advanced inside of rivals entering the lane, but tired after shifting to the four path in upper stretch yet lasted for fourth. MACKADOO tracked in the two path, chased in the four path around the far turn, but bumped between horses passing the five sixteenths pole and faded. ACT YOUR WAGE transferred contact from an inner foe to an outer rival at the start, raced off of the pace in the five to three path and made little impact. FILM AT ELEVEN vied for the lead with an inner rival while remaining multiple paths away from that one, but failed to keep pace at the three furlong pole and bumped with an outer rival while faltering between horses at the five sixteenths pole. KEVIN'S STRIKE tracked in the four path, faded in the five to six path around the far turn and was eased through the lane. NO SOY BORRACHO broke outwardly and bumped a rival at the start, pursued from midpack in the three path, but was done early and eased turning for home. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
