Chart notes
GOOD TO BE PRINCE set a clear pace along the inside, widened after disposing of a mild bid turning for home and held safely. GRAND ACADEMIC pursued from off of the pace in the three path, swung out to the seven path entering the lane, rallied to gain place while hanging on his left lead nearing midstretch, changed over at the sixteenth pole and closed the gap on the leader late. NOT BEHAVIN chased forwardly along the inside, was roused to inch closer to the leader in the two path around the turn, but only managed to gain pressing position, drifted to the four path entering the lane, lugged wider while fading and lasted for show. FRIENDLY CHARLIE stalked in the three path, got outmoved by an inner rival at the three furlong pole, then outkicked by an outer rival in upper stretch, then stayed on mildly to miss show. BUTCHER HOLLER tracked from the four path, chased around the turn and failed to menace. MI COMPADRE raced at the rear in the four path and never got invovled. SERENADER lacked speed in the three path and got outrun.
